Insulation grants
With energy prices at historic high levels, the need to insulate your home is becoming even more important. If you are on income-related benefits and living in a property owned by you or a private landlord which is poorly insulated and/or does not have a working central heating system, you may qualify for a grant to help you insulate your home.
Not In Receipt Of Benefits
If you’re an owner-occupier, then grants between £75 and £300 are
still available for:
- Cavity wall insulation
- Loft insulation, where there is either none or no more than 65mm depth
of insulation material already in place - Free hot water tank jacket when either of the above apply.
